The spiritual practice of blessing and releasing helps you constantly clear your energy field and sustain a high vibration of energy. It has considerable physical and mental health benefits and promotes well-being because it encourages the consistent release of negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, and toxic energy. The act of blessing and releasing any person or situation also helps you let go of the past, appreciate the present, and create the future you truly want.
When you learn to bless and release any negative thoughts, reactions, or energies it clears potential energy blocks and frees up new energy for manifesting what you want. When you’re first learning to do this, be aware of your reactions so you can immediately bring your nervous system back into balance by breathing and focusing on your heart center. Once you’ve calmed your nervous system, you can lovingly coach yourself with supportive self-talk such as: “Bless and Release, Open and let go, or Let it all be.”
Pause frequently as you move through negative energy or any challenging situation so that you remain aware of yourself, your environment, and any additional reactions that may arise. In this way, you not only soothe your physical or emotional reactions, but refrain from doing harm to others through them.
Use Bless and Release as a daily practice for clearing limiting beliefs, negative thoughts, patterns, and ultimately your energy field:
- Take a moment, close your eyes, and put your attention at your heart. Open your heart, visualize the person or situation in a ball of white light. Now bless them or it for showing you an unhealed aspect of yourself. Now wrap yourself in a spiral of white light beginning at the top of your head and slowly moving down through your body to your feet. As you do, clear any negative thoughts, choices, or energies as if you were whisking them out of your energy field. Then, visualize this spiral of white light energy expanding outward from your body to the outer reaches of your energy field. Release any negative energy or potential negative situations you feel here. Open and expand your heart even more and beam love. Put your intentions into the creational space that was created with your release and visualize them manifesting in your life.
- When any person or situation triggers a negative reaction, you can use a positive affirmation such as: “I bless and release anything that blocks the flow of love, I release my past stories and any reaction they have created, or I bless this person for bringing this unhealed part of myself into my awareness and release the rest.” Take alone time and be with your reaction until the underlying root feelings or issue surface. Stay with these feelings until you feel a release. Rinse your energy field with a bath or shower. Repeat as necessary.
- Use the mantra “Bless and release” to bless yourself in white light. Then, release your negative patterns, fear-based thoughts, and poor choices in pink light, because the vibration of pink light, which governs the physical universe, short-circuits negativity, thereby isolating it. Continue to open your heart in compassion to yourself and forgive your human choices.
Blessing and releasing your negative thoughts, fears and expectations moment to moment which brings you into a state of expanded awareness where you consciously create what you want in your life. When you release negative energy, it creates new space for positive energy to return to you. This positive energy is the seed plant for your intentions to manifest and opens more space in your heart to love yourself.
