Transforming your low vibrational beliefs into high vibe affirmations is key to manifesting your heart’s desires. It also helps to relieve anxiety and calm the nervous system especially when you are held hostage in fear by such beliefs. With present awareness and sustained practice, you can learn to override the negative beliefs that create insecurity and cause you to second-guess yourself.
Where do your low vibe beliefs stem from? Growing up, you likely took on the beliefs of your caregivers, teachers, society, or even religion. Up until the age of five, children are a completely porous field of energy and absorb the beliefs and behaviors of who they’re around.
As an adult, you may have mistaken these opinions or beliefs as your own without examining where they originated. You may have even adopted these beliefs as the “ultimate truth” without question. It’s important to question all of your beliefs to discover your truth. You need to see if they’re in alignment with your highest soul self, the highest part of you that knows the ultimate truth of who you are.
You may feel you are your beliefs and so you defend them and may even impose them on others. Maybe you’ve even caught yourself trying to convince others into thinking your way. Yet, each person has their own soul path to follow and it’s not the same as yours. Simply allowing others to have their beliefs without making them wrong or imposing yours on them honors their soul journey and sustains a higher vibration of energy.
By becoming your own loving coach, you can learn to transform low vibe beliefs replace them with positive affirmations and intentions. You can override the brain’s negative programming and distinguish between the beliefs that have sabotaged your life and unlimited possibilities for the future.
Here’s the three–step process that I use and teach my clients to transform your low vibe beliefs into high vibe affirmations:
1.Drop into your heart center by laying your hand on your chest and quieting the mind. By tuning into your heart center, you come into the loving space of present awareness. Heart-centered meditation is an exercise you can do to observe what negative beliefs come into your mind and what emotions they trigger. By focusing on your heart center and your breathing, you mindfully pay attention to a single focus, while allowing your thoughts, feelings, and sensations just come and go without getting caught up in them.
Notice what thoughts move across your mind like clouds across the sky with no judgment and with self-compassion. Remember you cannot choose what comes through your mind and how you feel in that moment. You can only choose what you pay attention to, how you pay attention, and what you do with that information. Spend 5-10 minutes here or as much time as you can. Then build up to 10-15 minutes every day.
2.When you feel ready, write down your predominant low vibrational beliefs in your journal. Then, next to each belief write a high vibrational affirmation. For example: If one of your negative beliefs is: “I never have enough money.” Rewrite the belief into an empowering affirmation such as: “I am connected to the unlimited abundance of the universe.”
3.As you move through your day, notice any negative, self-sabotaging, beliefs without judgment. Just let them move through your mind like clouds across the sky. As you notice them, begin to replace them with life-affirming, high vibe affirmations such as: This _________(self-sabotaging belief) is bringing an unhealed part of me into awareness. I choose __________(life affirming affirmation) that supports my well-being.
Repeat these affirmations as needed throughout the day. Be gentle and loving with yourself especially at the beginning when you may not catch them immediately. Just keep practicing so you can shift as soon as you are aware that you are operation from a low vibe belief.
