Although you are in a physical body, you are connected to an energy field that is formless, vibrating, and emanates from you. You can consciously plug into this energetic field through prayer, meditation, being in nature, or simple mindfulness. Such higher awareness opens you to your divinity and strengthens your sense of connection with others and the universe.
Knowing that I can connect to this energy has always been my touchstone in the midst of fear and turmoil. As a little girl, I found solace in knowing that I was connected to an energy that sourced through me. At the time, I didn’t know how to explain this universal connection I felt to everyone and everything around me. Yet, it made me feel safe and divinely protected when my life was chaotic and unpredictable. It was a deep internal knowing that, “Everything was going to be Ok,” no matter what my circumstances were at the time.
Here are 3 Sacred Practices to Raise Your Vibration:
Open Your Heart & Connect to Source: You tune in to your divine source through opening your heart. This powerful source of energy flows through you—also referred to as light, God, higher power, universal energy, or divine intelligence. When you open your heart, you generate a high vibrational energy that brings your body, mind, and spirit into harmonic resonance. The simple act of opening your heart and expanding your energy raises your vibration and the vibration of those around you.
Close your eyes and visualize a stream of white light moving up from your heart and out through the top of your head (crown chakra). See the light energy stream connecting you to your divine source. Focus your attention on this stream of light energy like alternating current. Visualize a figure eight from your heart out the top of your head and back to your heart again. Now open your heart and expand your awareness to any information being divinely downloaded. Let any images, sensations, intuitions, or ideas come through you. Take a moment and write down what you experienced.
Focus on Love, Joy, and Gratitude: Elevating your vibration is key to sustaining your unshakable resilience. So, it’s important that you become aware of the energy you bring to every moment. You may not always know when you are operating a lower vibration. But, here’s a clue: If you feel triggered by any negative feelings, you are operating from a lower vibration. Time to pause and take a timeout to reset your emotional field and elevate your energy.
Increase your spiritual practice. Meditate, pray, walk in nature, talk to your angels, and connect with your spiritual guides. Not just once a day, but several times a day. Tapping into love, joy, and gratitude elevates your energy to a higher vibration. The practice of gratitude plugs you into the high vibration of love and this is the anecdote for fear because where love exists fear does not persist. Like a short in an electrical wire, fear short circuits your vibration and zaps your power. The energy of gratitude amplifies your vibration from the inside not from something outside of you. It enhances your health and well-being and this energy ripples out to others. So, it’s important to anchor this high vibe energy throughout your energy field.
Dwell on the Positive Moments: Look for something positive everyday even if some days you have to look harder. Dwelling on the positive things in your life moves you toward the tipping point of positivity. Real experiences of awe, wonder, joy, warmth, inspiration, happiness, gratefulness, contentment, and connectedness–anything good in your life needs to be given focused attention. Doing so shifts your mindset toward the good things in your life, which, in turn, allows for a genuine resilience in your mind, body, and spirit.
It’s essential with our endless to-do lists that you carve out a few minutes each day to consciously focus on, mindfully attend to, and identify a positive experience you had that day or at some other time. Take a moment and allow yourself to think of a recent experience, large or small, that made you happy. Something may have made you laugh or smile, or a nice surprise may have come your way.
Whatever it is, give yourself a moment to think about it. Experience the feeling you had when it happened. Feel it in your body. Notice the change in you as you allow yourself to think about it, then savor it. Let yourself deeply appreciate all the components of this feeling. The chances are you will feel better than you did just minutes ago.
Imagine expanding your energy field in all directions from your heart center. Visualize your energy field emanating from your heart center beyond your body. Fill the room with your bright and brilliant energy. When you walk into a room, take up more space by expanding your energy field. Be aware throughout the day, are you shrinking or expanding your energy field.
